Please join us for faith formation this Lent exploring Spiritual Practices, Sundays 11am-noon, Feb 22 – Mar 22. Following the format of the popular Family Faith Formation Sundays, we are extending faith formation for all ages to all Sundays in Lent. Come once or come every Sunday as your schedule allows.

Our opening session on Spiritual Practices steps into the living heart of Anglican spirituality through the Book of Common Prayer. Building on Fr. Kelsey Hogue’s introduction to the Prayer Book’s history, we will focus on how the BCP is used as a daily companion in prayer. We will explore daily prayer, prayer in both individual and communal settings, corporate and individual confession, and praying the Psalms. This session is well-suited for both those new to the Prayer Book and those looking to deepen their practice.

Adult Bible Study

9:30am,

All adults are warmly invited to join in studying the Book of Jeremiah. Written during a time of political turmoil and spiritual decline, the book weaves together Jeremiah’s call from God and his sermons, symbolic actions, and personal laments, warning the people of Judah that their unfaithfulness would lead to Jerusalem’s destruction and their exile. Ultimately, Jeremiah is a book about the victory of God's love and grace, as the prophet also revealed promises of restoration and a future covenant, offering hope even in the midst of devastating loss. For more information and to be added to the Bible Study email distribution list, ontact Bible Study.
