faith & FITNESS

Sundays through September, 7:45-8:15am (begins Sunday, August 26)

Join our new youth leader/fitness instructor, Natalie, Sunday morning outside by the Sunday school area for faith based prayer and light movement. This half hour session will start with light stretching (suitable for those dressed in their Sunday best) to get oxygen moving. The second part will be focused on prayerful meditation, allowing your mind to focus on our Lord during the service. Contact Natalie to learn more.

How does our faith inform our politics? Revive the art of civil discourse as we engage in substantive conversation about current events and seek to be well-informed constituents. Drawing from Reclaiming Jesus resources, we will also look specifically at Colorado ballot initiatives.


Soul Collage as Spiritual Practice

Soul Collage is a method of spiritual discovery and our presenter will be the Rev. Michelle Danson, Episcopal priest, spiritual director and retreat leader. Registration cost $30 for materials. RSVP to The Rev. Sandy Grundy.

centering prayer

Tuesdays in the Library @ 1:30 pm

Join others in this prayer method designed to facilitate the development of contemplative prayer by preparing our faculties to receive this gift.   Centering prayer is at the same time a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship. This method of prayer is a movement beyond conversation with Christ to communion with him.

Join us for coffee, breakfast, and an abbreviated Morning Prayer service followed by discussion of the day's reading. This time of prayer, reflection and fellowship helps us grow and deepen our journey with Christ and with each other.

She Matters

Third Tuesdays in Maglaras Hall 6:30 - 9:00 pm, October-May

She Matters is a fellowship group for women of all ages. The name, "She Matters" reminds us of the importance of every woman, and meetings provide a place to connect and explore topics and ideas that are important to women.
