Who can join?
Any student entering 2nd - 9th grade is welcome to join the Broomfield Children's Chorus. Our mission is 'music for all', so there are no auditions to join.
What does it cost?
The cost for an entire semester of rehearsals and performances is $60, or $50 if you register by Saturday, December 31st. Your fee covers all sheet music, folders, and supplies. Your only other cost is a BCC shirt ($20), and your black uniform pants, shoes and socks. All of these items may be purchased at various retailers in their school uniform section. Scholarships are always available for any family needing financial assistance.
When do you meet and what is the fall schedule?
The chorus meets every Thursday, 4:45 - 6:15 pm, at Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, 1700 10th Avenue in Broomfield, CO. Below is our schedule for spring 2017.
1/5 - First Rehearsal, 4:45 - 6:15 pm
1/12 - Regular Rehearsal, 4:45 - 6:15 pm
1/19 - OPEN REHEARSAL/OPEN HOUSE and Bring a Friend Day!
1/26, 2/9 - Regular Rehearsals, 4:45 - 6:15 pm
2/10 - BONUS REHEARSAL, 5:30 - 8:00 pm (dinner included)
2/16, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16 - Regular Rehearsals, 4:45 - 6:15 pm
3/19 - Sing at Holy Comforter, 9 AM
3/19 - Winter Concert: 'Tall Tales & Silly Songs', 4 PM
3/23, 3/30 - NO REHEARSAL, Spring Break(s)
4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4 - Regular Rehearsal, 4:45 - 6:15 pm
5/7 - Sing at Holy Comforter, 10:45 AM
5/11 - Final Rehearsal, 4:45 - 6:15 pm
5/13 - Spring Concert, 7 PM
