The outreach ministry
at Holy Comforter serves those in need throughout the world and in our local
community. The Outreach team meets on the first Tuesday of
each month at 1:30pm in the parish hall.
The outreach ministry
has numerous opportunites to contribute to those in need. We are
involved with a number of organizations with local, national, and
global scope.
St Francis Center for the Homeless -
Volunteers from the church travel to the center on the
third Sunday of each month to help provide services to the guests.
Volunteers assist with mail distribution, laundry, storage of belongings,
clothing distribution, among many other services. Donation barrels for
materials for the St Francis Center are located at the
church.
